I was doing a bit of bike spotting out of my new window at work today, and something made me smile. It seems a couple of our friendly bike couriers have donned the old Rosebank Stackhat. I think we were in Grade 3 when our parent were encouraged to get us all one. I loved my old Stackhat for about the first half hour. I thought we looked a bit “Tron” in them. Then Matt and I headbutted each other until my inner foam cracked…. Good times. We soon disovered they became extremely hot and heavy in summer and generally pretty uncool. As soon as I was out of sight from Mum, it would spend the rest of it’s life stashed in a bush somewhere near home.

They do look pretty cool and retro today on the couriers. Although I haven’t seen an orange one yet. Classic white, all the way…

Did you all have Stackhats back in the day, and if you did, which colour?

I could watch that replay all day long…

… even though we played a mostly under 23 Bahrain team, right in the middle of Ramadan.

As I kick the red rubber ball out from under the computer desk, Roxy returns it around 20 times a minute… 

…… 7 and a half minutes have passed and she’s found something more interesting to do in the loungeroom.  I’ll wait for round 2.
